Fakhrul Alam (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in electrical and electronic engineering from BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests include indoor localization, the IoT, wireless sensor networks, and sensor applications.

法赫鲁尔·阿拉姆（Fakhrul Alam），IEEE 高级会员，1996年于孟加拉国达卡的BUET获得电气与电子工程学士学位（荣誉），1999年与2002年分别在美国弗吉尼亚州布莱克斯堡的弗吉尼亚理工大学获得电气工程硕士与博士学位。现任新西兰奥克兰理工大学（AUT）工程、计算机与数学科学学院电气与电子工程系教授。其主要研究方向包括室内定位、物联网、无线传感器网络及传感器应用。
