Eric (Shengjun Ma) is a researcher in Embedded AI and Intelligent Systems. He grew up in New Zealand and completed both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), receiving a strong academic foundation through the NZ education system. He later earned a joint PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering through Massey University and AUT. His work focuses on AI-powered IoT applications in Smart Homes, Agriculture 5.0, and Autonomous Driving, with expertise in Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Intelligent Sensing. His research has been published in high-impact journals in the field of embedded and applied AI.
